MY CAUSE
Since I was a little girl, I have had cats. In 2002 I rescued my first litter of feral kittens. I couldn't find anyone to help me learn how to care for them until I met a woman who did rescues and later merged with Gulf Shore Animal League. I was hooked. I fostered and cared for hundreds of cats and kittens over the next ten years. Health issues prevented me from fostering so as an accountant, I took the job of Treasurer. I have learned so much about these unique creatures and find great joy in giving my time and money to this non-profit organization that does so much for the welfare of Community Cats through our Trap-Neuter-Return program. It allows cats to live a normal life without producing more and more kittens. The babies are taken into our adoption program to find loving homes and live out a happy life.
Please consider a donation or perhaps you are interested in volunteering your time to help these beautiful, living and breathing creatures. Take a moment to go to our site for ideas and support. Your caring would mean the world to us and the cats and kittens we love!
